Welcome to Tales from the Treehouse at Wintergreen Resort! Newly renovated in 2026, this 5-bedroom house has everything you need for the perfect family getaway. The house has 3 main levels, two separate living rooms and a bonus kids hideout on the 4th. The main space is open plan: kitchen, dining, living that spills out into the back deck surrounded by nature. Double height, wood ceilings. Come home from the trails, the slopes, or a day on 151, kick your shoes off, and settle in among the trees!

The great room is the center of the house. A vaulted pine ceiling, heavy beams, and high windows keep you in the trees even when you are inside. The masonry fireplace sits in that volume, with a TV above and firewood at the hearth. A deep sectional and two chairs face the fire. Sliders open to the deck.

The Queen loft sits on the open landing above the great room. Bedroom 5 is the quieter room at the back. Up the ladder is the hideout: low eaves, a skylight, and a room of their own. Play space only. Not extra sleeping.

93 N Forest Drive is a short drive to the Wintergreen village, the lifts, and the Market. Hike, ski when there is snow, or head down Nelson 151 for wineries, cideries, and breweries. Come back to the house when you are done.

We want all of our guests to enjoy their stay. To ensure this, we kindly ask you to observe the following policies:

No Parties or Events: To maintain a peaceful environment and respect our neighbors, we do not permit parties, events, or large gatherings.

No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside and outside the house. No illegal substances allowed on the premises.

Booking Guest Age Minimum : 25 or older, Host reserves the ability to check ID.

Occupancy: The maximum number of guests allowed is as per the booking details. No additional overnight guests are permitted without prior approval from the owner.

Local Laws & Ordinances: Guests must comply with all local laws, rules, and ordinances during their stay.

Pets: 2 Dogs less than 50 lbs ea allowed with a $50 pet fee per week. Must be paid when booking. Exceptions may be made for registered service animals, but please notify us in advance. If approved, guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and ensuring they do not cause damage or disturbances. Pets are not to be left alone unless crated. No pets on the beds please.

Quiet Hours: To respect our neighbors and maintain a peaceful environment, we ask that you observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. During this time, please keep noise levels to a minimum, particularly when outdoors.

Cleanliness: We ask that you maintain the cleanliness of the house during your stay. Kindly remove your shoes when entering. Please don't eat or drink in the bedrooms.

Respect for Nature: As our house is located in a beautiful natural setting, we ask that you respect the environment by not littering, disturbing wildlife, or damaging any natural features.

Note: Breaking any of these or any House Rules may result in immediate termination of your reservation. Guests will be required to vacate the property, and no refund will be provided for any remaining nights. Additionally, any damages caused as a result of violating these rules will be charged to the guest.

Note: This property features a Blink doorbell device with an exterior security camera on the front outdoor entry. The camera does not look into any interior spaces. The camera actively records video when motion is detected by the device and records until there is no longer motion.

While staying at Tales from the Treehouse you will have seasonal access to the outdoor Wintergreen pool on the mountain (Chestnut Springs) and off the mountain (Rhodes Farm) between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
